It is borne of a total lack of what it takes to have a limited run of high performance gears researched and developed, specs checked to determine if it could be done, shipping them a gear set that I had to pull out of a diff., get a quote from a specialty rear end shop in regards to their installation, and ultimately have a set of gears that are made out of NASCAR material and individually mated to each other (and hand engraved designating a ring and pinion set that "is made for each other").I have left out a significant amount of the initial footwork and expense. While I choose to keep my CASH outlay personal, it is far in excess of what Greg D. stated. Try pricing an R200 ring and pinion gear set from Nismo (mass produced) and see what they cost....it's about $677. I'm irritated when someone expresses an uninformed opinion that hints of me being involved in some kind of "rip off" of the Z community. I've taken a significant risk in terms of time, energy, and potential financial loss, and I make no apologies on the prospect of making some profit. If the cost is prohibitive to you, don't buy the gears, but don't challenge my integrity. Mark
